Help
Staff does not provide training or assistance.
Signing in
If you are a resident of Clark County, you must have a current, unblocked Nevada Public Library card with you to use the computer. If you are not a resident of Clark County, we need to see your driver's license, state issued photo ID card or your passport.
You MUST sign in at the Reference Desk before using any public library computer.
Reservations
An appointment may be made by telephone or in person up to two (2) days in advance.
Scheduling is done in one (1) hour periods that start on the hour. If you sign if before the top of the hour, we will only guarantee you may use the computer until the top of the hour. After that, you may stay until a new user arrives, but you will need to surrender the computer immediately when asked to do so.
Weekdays, scheduled appointments will be held for fifteen (15) minutes for latecomers; weekends five (5) minutes. If you use a time slot other than your reserved time slot, you will forfeit your original reserved time.
If a cancellation occurs, the time becomes free for the next person who calls or arrives.
If a computer is out of order during your scheduled time period, the regular schedule will remain in effect. Lost time can be rescheduled. If we know ahead of time, we will attempt to notify you if your scheduled time period will be lost. Library Staff have the right to cancel or interrupt use of the computer, but will make every effort not to do so.
Printing
All print outs are 10 cents per page. They will be held at the Circulation Desk until paid for. We can not accept debit or credit cards.
Behavior
A maximum of two (2) people may be at the computer station at once.
Please note the library's behavior policy states that "all visitors to the library will conduct themselves in such manner as to make quiet study possible for everyone."
