Monday, June 8, 2pm – Movie: Goonies (1985) The Goonies are a group of seven young friends from a small Northwest town who find themselves on a thrilling underground adventure filled with humor and heart-pounding peril as they seek the secrets behind the treasure of the notorious pirate, One-Eyed Willie. 30th Anniversary (111 min; PG) To enhance your movie theater experience BYO snacks, beverages, and comfortable seating.

Tech Teacher, by appointment most Tuesdays and Wednesdays – Want to learn how to use the mouse, surf the internet, send an email, make a Facebook account, or have some other technology question? Friday, June 12, 6pm – Movie: Jurassic Park (1993) An age-old fantasy becomes reality as dinosaurs are genetically re-created for the ultimate theme park. The adventure begins in wonder and excitement, but soon takes a wrong turn as the dinos break out of their carefully constructed environment and begin to wreak havoc. Friday, June 19, 10am – Movie: Father Goose (1964) A beach bum is forced to work as a plane spotter during WWII. After a plane crashes nearby, he rescuee a woman and the 7 little girls she’s looking after. The two fall in love while arguing over everything. Saturday, June 20, 1pm – Craft: T-Shirt Wreath Come learn how to make a decorative wreath from old t-shirts. This program is free to observe, however if you would like to make a wreath at the program a supply list will be provided at the Reference Desk. Reservations and $5 deposit required, at the Reference Desk, at least 48 hours in advance.

Friday, July 3, 10am – Movie: Incredible Mr. Limpet (1964) In this combo live action/animation fantasy, scrawny Henry Limpet wants two things in life, to be a fish and join the Navy to help win WWII. Monday, July 6, 2pm – Movie: Support Your Local Sheriff (1969) When an unscrupulous family levies a fee on gold shipments crossing their ranch, a desperate town hires an easy going man, who’s on his way to Australia, to be sheriff. Friday, July 10, 6pm – Movie: Silverado (1985) A misfit bunch of friends come together to right the injustices which exist in a small town in this modern classic Western. 30th Anniversary (135 min; PG-13) To enhance your movie theater experience BYO snacks, beverages, and comfortable seating.

Saturday, July 18, 1pm – Craft: Paper Clay Animal Heads Come learn how to make animal heads out of paper clay. This program is free to observe, however if you would like to make an animal head at the program a supply list will be provided at the Reference Desk. Thursday, July 23, 2pm – Movie: Smokey and the Bandit (1977) The Bandit picks up a hitchhiker, a runaway bride, while running a tractor trailer full of illegal beer over state lines. Wednesday, July 29, 7pm – Performance: Duffy Hudson stars as Audie Murphy You’ve seen Duffy Hudson perform A Christmas Carol and George Burns, now come see him as WWII hero and actor Audie Murphy in his 45 minute one man bio-play based on Audie Murphy’s biography To Hell and Back.

Thursday, July 30, 1pm – Movie: To Hell and Back (1955) The true WWII story of Audie Murphy, the most decorated soldier in U.S. history. Based on the autobiography of Audie Murphy who stars as himself in the film. (160 min; NR) To enhance your movie theater experience BYO snacks, beverages, and comfortable seating.

Saturday, August 1, 1pm – Craft: Quick Recycled T-Shirt Crafts, Pt 1 Come learn how to make a variety of things, mostly jewelry out of recycled t-shirts. All crafts should take just a few minutes to complete. This program is free to observe; however, if you would like to items at the program, a supply list will be provided at the Reference Desk. Reservations and $5 deposit required, at the Reference Desk, at least 48 hours in advance.
