The Boulder City Library has changed some loan rules and fees.
Loan Rules
- Books continue to check out for three weeks, with no limit on the number of books.
- VHS & DVDs now check out for one week, and have a limit of 7.
- Music CDs continue to check out for three weeks, and have a limit of 7.
- Audio Books on CD, Tape, or Playaway, including Language sets continue to check out for three weeks, and have a limit of 7.
- Magazines now check out for one week, and have a limit of 7.
Fees
- Overdue Fees for all materials are now be 25 cents/per day/per item.
- Maximum Overdue Fee for an individual Item: $10.00
- If an item is lost or damaged, the patron’s card will be charged a $5.00 non-refundable processing fee, in addition to the replacement cost of the item.
- Patron cards continue to be blocked at $2.50 and can not be used again until fines are under $2.50.
These changes were passed by the Boulder City Library Board of Trustees on September 22, 2010.
